Norman Shannon Senior Partner
Norman, senior partner and well-known and respected solicitor, is recognised as a leading criminal lawyer and human rights advocate in Northern Ireland.
He advises and appears for clients in criminal cases both before the District Judges’ and Crown Courts throughout Northern Ireland and represents clients at PACE interviews at police stations and other locations.
Norman also provides advice and representation to clients in immigration and asylum and mental health cases including at tribunals and judicial reviews.
Outside of work, Norman is the Chairman of Instonians’ Cricket Club, a member of the Council of Shaws’ Bridge Sports Association and a member of the Northern Cricket Union’s Disciplinary Panel.

Julie specialises in personal injury claims, winning significant compensation for clients who have been injured in accidents or have been the victim of assault.
She is regarded as an expert in the field of employment and equality law and has acted for individual employees and also for employers in the private and third (voluntary) sector.
She represents clients in courts and tribunals throughout Northern Ireland and the majority of cases settle without the case having to go into hearing.
She advises a number of local charities in relation to policy, governance and regulatory matters.
Julie is an Advanced Solicitor Advocate and sits as a part time Employment Judge. She is a member of the Management Committee of Lighthouse, a suicide prevention charity, based in North Belfast.

Teresa Adams Partner
Teresa is renowned for her sensitive and expert handling of clients’ problems and specialises in all areas of matrimonial and family law.
She advises, guides and represents clients through difficult times including divorce and separation and deals with children’s cases including adoption, access and maintenance matters. She regularly represents those who find themselves victims of domestic violence.
Teresa deals with conveyancing matters, including buying, selling and remortgaging commercial and residential property, commercial and private leases and deals with wills, probate and estates.
Teresa is on the Law Society Children Order Panel and is a Collaborative lawyer and is also a member of Women’s Aid Belfast and Lisburn Management Committee.

Louise Bradley Apprentice Solicitor
Louise has been with Norman Shannon & Company since 2006, assisting the Senior Partner with Criminal Law, Immigration Law, Mental Health Review Tribunals, Parole Commission cases and with Prisoner Support and Sports Visas/Contracts. Louise gives support and assistance to other partners when required in Family matters, Wills and Probate, Criminal Injury Claims and Civil Matters.
Louise is a member of the Immigration Practitioner Group and the Mental Health Tribunal Group with the Law Centre Belfast.
